Cake Information
ORDERING PROCESS
Tell us about your event, theme, color palette, dietary restrictions, and ideas for your cake. Secure a date for custom-designed cakes which is about 45 to 60 days out. Custom cakes can be order within 45 days of your event.Choose your icing flavor; we offer variety of icing options: Italian, and Swiss Meringue buttercream.Choose your sizes and tier shapes; round or square. Full range of sizing can be found here, flower types (sugar flower, or real flower). Your ideas, or inspiration for the cake design.
CAKE DELIVERY
We usually deliver our cakes on the day of the event and will arrange a time with your venue’s co-ordinator, to ensure it is set-up correctly. Wedding Cake Delivery is available within the City of Palm Springs to Coachella Valley, and including Joshua Tree. Please email us for a quote.
PRICES
Each cake is designed to suit your personal style and requirements. Prices will vary depending on the amount of detail and the number of servings you would like. Please visit our price guide page for more information.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
To secure your cake booking, we require a 50% deposit. This is non-refundable or transferable. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
CAKE STAND RENTAL
In addition, we offer a wide selection of beautiful cake stands to perfectly compliment your cake. They also add height, especially if you have a small cake. Cake Stand hire is $25-40, with an additional security deposit, in case of any loss or damage.
IN-PERSON CONSULTATIONS
We don't carry baked goods for sale each day. In-person tastings are scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays between 12 am and 4 pm (by appointment only and 30 days out is required). We typically do not schedule in-person appointments on weekends, unless circumstances are exceptional, as we are preoccupied with completing and delivering our wedding cake orders on those days.
The consultation fee is $100, which includes a tasting of three flavors of your choice from our menu. We provide enough cake samples to serve up to 3 people in total.
In-person appointments are best for clients who are planning to order a completely unique and custom cake, which needs to be designed from scratch, rather than being chosen from one of our pre-designed collections. This collaborative design time is invaluable and allows us to get to know you and your style before we produce a sketch and quote for your custom cake.
